01 · The challenge

A high-demand ecommerce business tied to IT.

With around two million customers, 16,000 products and seven languages, every business decision had to go through the technical team. Basic features, such as click and collect, had to be built from scratch, and the firewall that held back bots during releases also blocked real shoppers.

02 · What we did

Replicate first, improve later.

  • Launch as a minimum viable product replicating the previous website, in four months.
  • Selection and configuration of apps: Shopify Flow, Growave and Translate & Adapt for the seven languages.
  • Payment gateways with Shopify Payments, with visibility of disputes and chargebacks.
  • Analytics and measurement for the new shop.
  • Email code login: customers signed in without resetting their password.
03 · Results

+14% revenue, +13.6% orders and +28% returning customers.

New customer acquisition grew by 4.9% and average order value by 5%. A global update of 21,000 products with metafields and images now takes two or three hours instead of days, and real shoppers no longer run into anti-bot blocks.

“Before Shopify, every ecommerce business decision had to go through IT.”
